This Ultra-Moist Banana Bread is everything a homemade loaf should be—soft, tender, and packed with rich banana flavor. Using three ripe bananas and a full cup of butter creates a loaf that almost melts in your mouth, while warm spices like cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg elevate the sweetness naturally. Perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a comforting dessert, it fills your kitchen with a tempting aroma that’s impossible to resist.

Ultra-Moist Banana Bread

Ingredients:

Ingredient Amount
Unsalted butter, softened 1 cup (2 sticks)
Ripe bananas, mashed 3
All-purpose flour 1¾ cups
Granulated sugar ¾ cup
Eggs, beaten 2
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Baking soda 1 tsp
Ground cinnamon 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Ground nutmeg ¼ tsp
Chopped walnuts (optional) ½ cup

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Pan
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan for easy removal after baking.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients
    In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly mixed.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugar
    In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in Bananas
    Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, alternating with the mashed bananas. Stir just until combined to keep the bread light and tender.
  5. Add Nuts (Optional)
    Gently fold in walnuts if desired, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  6. Bake
    Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve
    Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
