They Handcuffed the Wrong Girl—Then Found Her Secret ID

September 12, 2026

For six years, I secretly paid my 84-year-old neighbor’s $29 water bill, certain she never knew. This Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole is rich, satisfying, and incredibly easy to prepare—perfect for busy weeknights. Tender shredded chicken and soft biscuit pieces bake together in a creamy, savory sauce, topped with gooey melted cheese and crispy bacon for a comforting dish the whole family will love.

Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Shredded cheddar cheese, divided 2 cups
Cooked chicken, shredded 3 cups
Ranch seasoning mix 2 tablespoons
Cream of chicken soup 2 cans
Cooked bacon, crumbled ¼ cup
Sour cream 1 ½ cups
Refrigerated biscuit dough (12 oz can) 12 oz

Servings: 8

Directions

1. Prepare & Combine
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded chicken, Ranch seasoning, 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, and the crumbled bacon. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.

2. Mix in Biscuits
Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces. Carefully fold the biscuit pieces into the chicken mixture, ensuring they are well coated.

3. Bake the Casserole
Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown and fully cooked.
