Timpf’s Coachella comeback follows a deeply personal journey. In a now-viral social media post titled “An Unconventional Birth Announcement”, she revealed that just 15 hours before going into labor, she was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer.
“Don’t freak out,” she wrote, “It’s just, like, a LITTLE bit of cancer.”
She gave birth to her baby boy later that night, and shortly afterward, underwent a double mastectomy to prevent the cancer from spreading.
“I’m lucky we found it early. I’m lucky to be my son’s mom,” she added.

In true Kat fashion, she didn’t hold back on humor — even in a hospital gown.

Unfortunately, her health journey hasn’t been without trolls.
Timpf slammed viral fake Facebook posts falsely claiming she had died from complications. Another phony account even pretended to post the first photo of her baby.
“Guys, there are lots of fake accounts posting stuff about me… including this one that says I died,” she tweeted earlier this month.
What’s Next for Kat?
While still technically on maternity leave, Timpf is already plotting her return to TV — but not in the way fans might expect.
She’ll soon reunite with Greg Gutfeld and Jamie Lissow on a brand-new reality-style panel show, What Did I Miss?, set to debut on Fox Nation.
